Combine Ride with Grampa!

My dad and brother have been working hard the last couple days to get all the wheat cut just up above the house, first time in many many years that the custom combiners haven't cut all the wheat. Carter had been watching the combines go by and was pretty sure she needed to go for a ride. So this afternoon when we could hear them running, we figured we better walk up and see if we could talk Grampa into a ride. One of my favorite things (among a whole list full!) that I love about this little girl of mine is her adventurous spirit and how she isn't afraid to try new things.

We didn't have a tough sell getting Grampa to take her for a ride. All we did was stand by the road where he could see us and look cute--well she did. I'm doing the small minivan look right now which might be a lot of things, but I'm pretty sure cute isn't on the list.

Grampa and Carter off for their ride. One more reason I love living here!

You are SO correct cousin - kids are worth every minute! Family and living right in the middle of it is also worth every minute! I enjoy the pictures of uncle and combines! I have many fond memories of that as a kid - probably all of us kids remember it more fondly than do the adults!
