Playing Bunny
Friday was role reversal day. Carter had great fun playing mom while I got to play Carter. Apparently I was "very bad" and had to go sit on the naughty chair. Ok, so I played along and went and sat on the naughty chair. I guess I wasn't dramatic enough so she demanded that I cry. I pretended to cry while she shook her finger at me and told me I couldn't get down until I stopping crying. Hmmm, this is sounding a bit familiar... Then I pretended to throw a temper tantrum and threw some stuff on the floor. Carter, in her best mocking mommy style, told me "NO! No throwing. You know better!" and ran around cleaning up my mess. It was priceless. I got a pretty good look at me through her eyes. Another game she likes is to say "I don't like you Mommy". I start pretending to cry and she comes running over and snuggles up to me, giving me hugs and kisses, telling me it's ok. Then after a minute she looks at me and says "you ok mommy?" as soon as I say yes, then she starts over telling me she doesn't like me again. Not sure what this game is about but she gets a kick out of it. While I was trying to clean out the bunny's cage, Carter decided she wanted to be a bunny. She crawled in the cage (wearing her new swimsuit she had just found) and proceeded to try hoping around...
